SimonMed Imaging plans to introduce Polarean Imaging‘s Xenon MRI platform to its outpatient medical imaging centers.
Polarean announced a strategic collaboration with SimonMed and said the first site to adopt the platform will be in Scottsdale, AZ, later this year. The deal will expand the availability of functional lung imaging for patients with pulmonary diseases and respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and unexplained dyspnea, Polarean said.
SimonMed operates approximately 170 outpatient imaging centers in 11 states in the U.S., the company noted.
