Capitol Imaging Services has acquired the seven freestanding MRI and diagnostic imaging locations of Houston MRI & Diagnostic Imaging in Texas.
The company now owns the largest independent imaging platform in the Greater Houston area, with 18 total centers, according to its parent, Clearview Capital.
Clearview Capital acquired Capitol Imaging Services in October 2020. Since then, the two entities have been seeking to acquire outpatient diagnostic imaging providers, especially those with multisite and multimodality operations.
The Houston MRI & Diagnostic Imaging deal was finalized January 3. Its terms were not disclosed.
Capitol Imaging now has 48 freestanding outpatient imaging locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The centers offer MRI, CT, PET/CT, and women’s health imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, and biopsies, according to Clearview.
